Robinson Crusoe

The first part of this book started slow but it also had a lot of adventure in it. The wording was difficult to read because it is so different from our language now but i could still go through it at a decent pace. Robinson has had a pretty exciting life so far, well at least after he decided not to listen to his parents and stay in his safe life. I'm looking forward to the rest of the book to see what other adventures he will have on the island and if he will get off and how.

  1. Megan, write more. You need to write a longer blog post in order to explain your ideas and to develop your ideas. Think about the book more as you write. For example, do you think it was a good idea for him to ignore/defy the advice of his parents? Can you extrapolate this idea out broader: is it a good/justifiable idea for teenagers or young adults to ignore the advice of their parents and mentors (I'm thinking of the first master of the ship who called him a Jonah)? Look at Lauren's first blog post as an example of a good length.
